
The Organising Committee invites you to participate in the Australian College of Critical Care Nurses (ACCCN) Annual Education Meeting (AEM). The event will be held at voco Brisbane 26-27 March 2026.
The ACCCN’s Annual Education Meeting (AEM) is a prominent event in the field of critical care nursing in Australia. The AEM focused on providing critical care nurses with the latest knowledge, research, and best practices in the field with a clinician and educator focus. The program features a wide range of educational sessions, workshops, and presentations covering topics related to critical care nursing, patient care, and professional development. Renowned experts and leaders in the critical care nursing field will spark insight lead discussions on relevant and emerging healthcare topics.
The theme for the 2026 AEM is Bright Minds, Bold Moves: Research, Education and Workforce in Critical Care.
A comprehensive programme with plenaries, concurrent streams and interactive workshops addressing topics such as CVAD (central venous access device) safety, trauma care, paediatric critical care, ECMO (extracorporeal membrane oxygenation), leadership in nursing and legal/regulatory aspects.
Opportunity for free-paper abstract presentations. Nurses and teams are encouraged to submit abstracts aligned to education, research, workforce or clinical practice categories. Submission deadline was 10 October 2025.
Social hour/networking, trade exhibition and industry-sponsor engagement.
Accommodation and travel support: the venue is centrally located; delegates are encouraged to book at the voco Brisbane City Centre under the conference rate.
