The central theme is “The circles of influence: Evidence-based practice and practice-based evidence” – emphasising the relationship between research, practical implementation and system-level change in infection prevention & control (IPC).
The conference aims to bring together infection prevention practitioners, policy-makers, educators, researchers, industry stakeholders and allied health professionals to share evidence, innovations, real-world application and to network with like-minded professionals.
A comprehensive programme with pre-conference workshops (in-person only), plenary sessions, concurrent streams, poster/free-paper sessions and an exhibition of IPC-industry suppliers.
Key topics will include leadership in IPC, behaviour change and human factors, antimicrobial stewardship, innovations in IPC training, specialised settings (aged-care, rural/remote, non-acute), system-based practice change, and sharing research-to-practice translation
