National Allied Health Conference (NAHC) 2025

The event is structured over three days, featuring high-level plenaries, concurrent breakout sessions, and practical workshops.

• Pre-Conference Workshops (Mon 11 Aug): A full day of in-person, in-depth workshops (at an additional cost). Topics include:
  • Redefining roles: The Impact of Advanced Practice
  • Strategies for co-design in allied health
  • Patient reported measures (PRMs)
  • Building a Rural and Remote Allied Health Assistant Workforce
  • Virtual Reality Cultural Training
  • Demonstrating the value and impact of allied health
• Main Conference (Tue 12 – Wed 13 Aug): Two full days of conference sessions.
  • Plenaries: Keynotes and panel discussions featuring high-level speakers, including the Commonwealth and NZ Chief Allied Health Officers, the National Rural Health Commissioner, and experts on digital health and data transformation (like Dr Louise Schaper).
  • Keynote Theme: A major keynote will be “Empowering Lives, Shaping Healthcare: Achieving Equitable Health Outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.”
