Overview The allowances are designed to contribute to the cost of travel and accommodation, but may not cover full costs. The allowances are only available to apprentices and trainees who are on a training contract registered in Tasmania. Check if you can apply To be eligible, an apprentice or trainee must: have an active registered training contract as prescribed by the Training and Workforce Development Act 2013 be required to travel to attend training and/or assessment as scheduled in their training plan.
