Even in the fast changing world of AI related opportunities and challenges I believe people are and will continue to be the greatest asset we have in the health indusry, one that deserves genuine investment, not just reactive management. I have extensive hands-on people experience, first as an operational HR Manager and later as a dedicated HR consultant across many workplaces, I’ve worked across many industries and government but my passion is in the aged care, allied health, hospital and home care sectors.
I understand the unique pressures healthcare providers face: staffing shortages, regulatory demands, tight budgets, and the constant challenge of delivering quality care. My focus has always been to provide practical, proven approaches that make a real difference.
Whether it’s building confident supervisors, coaching clinical and care teams, navigating difficult conversations, or implementing workplace change, I take a lot of personal satisfaction in helping healthcare businesses strengthen their people so they can remain safe, productive, and sustainable.
People should be seen as a point of difference for a business not only in what they do but their impact on the bottom line. Attracting and rewarding talented people and managing poor ones sounds easy but it is something that is often overlooked in the busy world of health care. Leaders simply run out of time juggling a hundred priorities or just need a hand with the ‘doing’ part.
My vision is clear: to create workplaces where healthcare leaders and care teams feel truly supported and empowered. Through Veri Health, I can share practical insights and strategies to help businesses build resilient, people-first organisations that deliver exceptional care while remaining viable and sustainable.
