“The biggest challenge is still labour force,” he explained. “The aged care sector’s new 24/7 nursing requirement has diluted the hospital workforce, and while skilled migration is returning, it’s a slow burn.”

Q-bital’s mobile facilities can be deployed within weeks, a critical advantage for hospitals facing capacity crunches or emergency surges.

“It’s tough to see ambulances ramped outside hospitals with patients waiting inside them because there’s no bed available,” Spryszynski said.

“That’s where we can make a real difference. We’ve replaced as many as seven ambulances in one go, freeing them to get back on the road.”
