I am a registered nurse, child health nurse and international board certified lactation consultant (IBCLC) with more than 30 years of experience supporting families and strengthening health communities.
As co-founder and former director of Embrace Life in North Lakes, I spent 16 years building one of Queensland’s most successful multidisciplinary health practices, supporting over 600 clients each week through an integrated, values-led model of care.
Today, through my consultancy Green Heart Consultancy, I work as a child health nurse and lactation consultant, supporting families with sleep, feeding, breastfeeding and early development. I also mentor childcare educators to strengthen their knowledge of child development and build collaborative partnerships with parents, helping every child reach their fullest potential.
My career spans both public health and private enterprise, including clinical roles at the Ellen Barron Family Centre and more than a decade as a lactation and child health consultant and childbirth educator.
I believe that compassionate, evidence-based care starts with connection – between practitioners, educators and families. My vision is to see healthcare and early childhood settings that are collaborative, inclusive and built on relationships of trust, empathy and shared purpose.
