Australia’s healthcare industry is booming, now worth more than $200 billion. Yet behind that growth lies a quieter crisis. Leaders are burning out, private practices are struggling to stay profitable, and professionals are left without a trusted, independent source of business intelligence tailored to the realities of healthcare.
“Veri Health was born from that frustration,” says Ellie Bakker, Co-Founder of Veri Health and healthcare marketing and business growth expert.
“For too long, healthcare professionals have had nowhere to go for credible business and leadership news, insights that are relevant, compliant and designed for them. Our goal is to bridge that gap to help healthcare leaders build better businesses so they can deliver better care.”
Because healthcare deserves better.
What the industry told us
Ahead of its launch, Veri Health commissioned the Veri Health Survey, capturing the voices of more than 100 healthcare leaders across Australia.
An overwhelming 92 per cent said there is a clear need for a platform like Veri Health, one that understands the unique intersection of healthcare, business and regulation.
“That result validated what we already knew,” Bakker explains. “The industry is hungry for trustworthy, Australian-specific business intelligence, something that empowers healthcare professionals to make smarter decisions and lead with confidence.”
More than news
Veri Health is a free-to-access digital platform combining independent journalism with practical tools, insights and community connection
Here’s what you’ll find:
- Daily articles: original reporting, game changer profiles, expert interviews, business insights and practical advice for healthcare leaders.
- Directories and calendars: a business directory, visionary directory and events calendar to help busy leaders find trusted and vetted connections.
- Grant and funding finder: helping businesses identify both healthcare and general business funding opportunities (launching late-November)
- Resource hub: launching late-November, featuring free on-demand webinars, checklists and whitepapers, and more to come.
“We’re creating something bigger than a media outlet,” says Belinda Boyce, CEO and Co-Founder of Veri Health. “This is a living ecosystem that supports healthcare leaders through every stage of business with resources, education and a community that genuinely understands the pressures they face.”
Built for the people behind the system
Veri Health exists to help the people driving Australia’s healthcare system, from clinicians and founders to executives and innovators, lead sustainably.
“Healthcare professionals spend their lives improving others’ wellbeing,” Boyce says. “Veri Health exists to help them look after their own, their businesses, their teams and their professional growth.”
Looking ahead
In 2026, Veri Health will expand its offering to include live webinars, business events, roundtables and industry conversations, and an Advisory Board call-out for industry leaders passionate about shaping the next phase of healthcare leadership.
The platform is already supported by a growing community of members, advertisers and corporate partners, with more opportunities for collaboration now open.
“We’re actively seeking corporate partners for 2026 who share our belief that better businesses lead to better care, to join our already growing cohort,” Bakker says. “Together, we can raise the standard of business excellence across the entire healthcare ecosystem.”
