Key takeaways

  • Magentus has joined Veri Health as a Foundation Corporate Partner, strengthening collaboration across Australia’s health innovation and leadership landscape.
  • The partnership unites two organisations committed to improving the business, leadership and operational capabilities of healthcare professionals.
  • Michele Blanshard, Magentus Managing Director for Practice Management and Oncology, says the partnership elevates the stories of specialist practices delivering care at the leading edge.

A partnership built on shared purpose

Veri Health has welcomed Magentus as a Foundation Corporate Partner, formalising a collaboration built on shared values of connection, innovation and elevating the people who make healthcare work.

For Michele Blanshard, Magentus’s Managing Director of Practice Management and Oncology, the alignment was clear.

“Veri Health has a deep understanding of healthcare and such a clear focus on shining a spotlight on healthcare providers and those supporting them,” Blanshard said. “We work with so many wonderful specialist practices and teams, so this is a great way to amplify their stories and highlight the important work happening across specialist care.”

Who is Magentus?

Magentus is a global health technology organisation bringing together leading digital health brands in Australia and the UK, including Genie Solutions, Gentu, Citadel Health and Wellbeing Software.

Blanshard oversees the organisation’s practice management and oncology portfolio, which includes widely used specialist platforms (Genie and Gentu) and Charm, its oncology medication management system.

“At Magentus, we’re driven by the goal of helping specialists spend less time on admin and more time with patients,” she said. “That’s why our platforms are designed to streamline clinical and operational workflows, so practices can run more efficiently and free up that face-to-face care time.”

She identifies fragmentation as one of the biggest challenges facing specialist practices.

“Too many disconnected systems and tools, with too much duplication. The biggest opportunity is therefore in better integration,” Blanshard said. “We simplify the day-to-day and bring everything together in one place so specialists can focus on delivering care.”

Amplifying the quiet achievers of healthcare

Blanshard sees the partnership as an opportunity to highlight the people solving problems behind the scenes and driving meaningful change.

“We see this as a fantastic chance to showcase the real impact of those quiet achievers behind the scenes, those who are dedicated to solving problems and driving the change that helps our customers deliver better care,” she said. “It’s a way to give that visibility to our community and show that dedication to the world.”

As a Foundation Corporate Partner, Magentus is already using its partnership to spotlight the people shaping specialist care. One example is Yupin Robson, featured in Veri Health’s Game Changer series, whose team transitioned from Magentus’s Genie system to the cloud-based Gentu platform to strengthen stability during rapid growth.

Celebrating the people driving change

Veri Health Co-Founder Ellie Bakker said welcoming Magentus as a Foundation Corporate Partner strengthens the platform’s ability to spotlight the organisations improving healthcare through technology, leadership and smarter systems.

“Magentus is deeply aligned with our vision for a more connected, modern healthcare system,” Bakker said. “Their support helps us continue delivering accessible journalism and insights that empower leaders across the sector.”

She added that Magentus’ commitment to innovation and interoperability reflects the kind of progress Veri Health was created to champion.

Looking ahead

The partnership between Veri Health and Magentus reflects a broader shift in Australian healthcare, from siloed systems to connected, insight-driven models that unite clinical care with business confidence.

As a Foundation Corporate Partner, Magentus helps Veri Health continue delivering independent journalism, practical resources and community-led insights for healthcare professionals nationwide. Their support ensures the platform remains open and accessible to all – because healthcare deserves better.

Over the next 12 months, Veri Health and Magentus will continue showcasing innovation, celebrating success and championing the idea that better business builds better care.
